Itinerary
Day 1 Jaipur
Arrive in the Pink City of Jaipur. Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the
day is at leisure to explore the bustling local colorful local markets
of Jaipur on your own, overnight at the hotel
Day 2 Jaipur
This morning visit Amer fort an ancient capital of Jaipur, you will see
magnificent palaces with walls covered with mirrored mosaics. Enjoy an
elephant ride at the Amer fort. Later this afternoon visit the City Palace,
an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards,
proceed to the adjacent Jantar Mantar an astronomical observatory built
in 17th century. Lastly you will drive past the Hawa Mahal, a Palace of
winds, overnight at the hotel
Day 3 Jaipur – Roopangarh (140 kms / 3 –
4 hrs)
This morning you will drive to Roopangarh, home to a fort that was built
in 1648 and named for Maharaja Roop Singh. This nine turreted Fort was
built over several generations and features many different styles that
are evident in the structure. Arrive and proceed to your hotel. Rest of
the day is at leisure to explore this wonderful fort, overnight at the
hotel
Day 4 Roopangarh – Rohetgarh (230 kms
/ 5-6 hrs)
Today you will be transferred by road to Rohetgarh, picturesque hamlet
settled by the Bishnoi tribal community of Rajasthan, who are famous for
their reverence of wildlife and their careful environmental management.
Arrive and proceed to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore
this tiny Bishnoi village on your own, overnight at the hotel
Day 5 Rohetgarh
In the morning you will visit the Rohetgarh fort, the fortified mansion
of the Champawat clan of the Rathores of Jodhpur. Generations of valiant
noble-men have built this heritage home where, notwithstanding the inroads
of modernity, aristocratic values are respected. Rest of the day at leisure
or optionally you may choose to go onto a horse or jeep safari to explore
this beautiful historic town of Rajasthan, overnight at the hotel
Day 6 Rohetgarh – Kumbhalgarh
(195 kms /4-5 hrs)
You will proceed to Kumbhalgarh, the second most important citadel after
Chittorgarh in the Mewar region. Enroute you will visit Ranakpur, a world
famous Jain Temple complex, famous for its most intricate carvings on
the marble and most notable is the 1444 pillar hall. Arrive and proceed
to your Fort Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel
Day 7 Kumbhalgarh – Udaipur
(65 kms /1-2 hrs)
Today you will be transferred to a Lake city of Udaipur, situated on the
banks of the shimmering lake Pichola, is one of the most romantic cities
of Rajasthan. Rest of the day is at leisure. Evening enjoy a boat ride
on picturesque lake Pichola (subject to water level in Pichola lake).
Overnight at the hotel
Day 8 Udaipur
Morning visit the City Palace, which is largest palace complex in Rajasthan,
proceed to Jagdish temple & the Museum, lastly visit the Sahelion
Ki Bari or “Garden of the Maids of Honour. Rest of the day is at
leisure for shopping and individual activities, overnight at the hotel
Day 9 Depart Udaipur
You will be transferred to airport to board your flight for onward journey
